January 23rd Homework

Kleine Summary:
In his article, "What Is It We Do When We Write Articles Like This One- and How Can We Get Students To Join Us?", Michael Kleine discusses how students have less experience to effectively gather information from researching and to form it into their writing. He based this off of his colleagues and his own experiences, as well as interviewed researchers to know what their thoughts were compared to others'.

QD:
1.) In my experiences, I never really went far into researching for papers. I generally just got the information that I needed regarding my subject and didn't search any further.

3.) I do not think that sources play a big role in the professionals research. But for me, it was always important because it was required to have certain sources. I also wanted to make sure I got the correct information for my paper. Kleine thought that it was more important to gain knowledge from what you are writing about, but I just wanted to make sure I got enough information.

4.) The way I research would change because he wants us to read more sources and go deeper into the information. If I did this I would receive more information for my papers to back up my arguments.

Reflection:
I found this article interesting because it covers a little bit of everything from the past readings. Before reading this article,  I never thought about getting more information than what was actually needed in all of my papers that I have done, but now my view towards that has completely changed.
