With this paper, my claim is that texting does affect the way students write, but in a positive way. I supported my claim by getting sources explaining that texting is actually a way to practice reading and writing, you just need to decipher the words and letters. My counter argument is that teachers still do not approve of seeing texting lingo in writing, and that students need to realize what they are writing and control it. I think that I had a really strong introduction, but didn't back it up with the rest of my paper. I tried fixing my paper by fixing the problems Paige found, and I attempted to make the flow better. If I had more time to work on this, I would have worked a lot more on the flow of the paper.
